An accomplished executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of successful experience within Technology Innovation, Supplier Diversity and Vendor Management, Delia has a proven ability to foster relationships with C-Suite, and has built a reputation for developing business strategies, incubating new business models, and building out channel programs within the organizations she has served.

Delia has been frequently selected by executive management to conceive and execute large-scale initiatives related to community partnerships and inclusion. She is recognized as a motivator and mentor, with an outstanding record of achievement in the business. Her expertise demonstrates her exceptional ability at program management, team development, and out-of-the-box long-term plans for organizational growth and success.

As an outcome-driven maverick, her mission purpose is to focus on strategic and goal-oriented vision that continues to exemplify her standard of excellence she sets as a business owner, a STEM advocate and a diversity evangelist. In her business, she partners with Fortune 500 clients, manages relationships and navigates through the corporate tunnel to discover how technology can reach new customers, deliver outstanding experiences and grow the bottom line. Her Insight and Oversight expertise provides a pivotal experience for her clients in three areas: 1) IT and business process outsourcing, 2) IT Transformations and her passion; 3) IT MWBE Supplier Diversity transactions.

Delia’s advocacy extends to organizations that support families and provide career vision to youth. She is Vice-Chair of HACE, past chairperson for the Advisory Board of Mujeres de HACE and has been a long-time Board member for Gad’s Hill (a nonprofit that helped Delia and her family when she was growing up). In 2010, Delia was elected to the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) and in 2011 was honored on a national list of “Top 100 Hispanic IT Executives.”

Education has always been a priority for Delia and she was the first in her family with the opportunity to go to college. She attended Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, and earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Accountancy from University of Illinois at Chicago.

This year Hispanic Leadership was celebrated as Delia was named to Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago by Negocios Now. In 2017, Delia was celebrated as Latina Style’s: Entrepreneur of the Year in Chicago as well as honored with selection in the Stanford Graduate School of Business Latino Entrepreneurial Program, a 6-week business program open only to 75 national candidates. The participants were immersed in training and hands-on strategies in business growth and scalability. She recently completed the 12-week Women’s Business Development Center “Scale Up” program in Chicago. Additionally, she has earned a certification as a minority-owned business.

During a two-year client engagement at Catholic Health Initiatives, Delia played an integral role in the health provider’s $450M IT transformation initiative. She led a $6M IT stabilization project in which she cultivated cross-functional partnerships with the regions, corporate executives and leads of 26 workstreams. Within a year her team resolved 181 infrastructure, application and security issues that affected the enterprise. Delia was later asked to serve as Executive Program Lead for a $10M project that involved a complex data center migration and oversight of HP and 12 other IT vendors.

At General Growth Properties, a short-term project led to three other engagements over three years at the real estate investment company. Delia’s ability to bridge technology and business needs provided a smooth transition from Microsoft Exchange to Office 365 (completed two years ahead of schedule). Her communication and relationship management skills facilitated the acceptance of security measures required for a major systems conversion. Delia also identified and secured a $25M contract to replace an IT outsource vendor, as well as was the Executive Lead managing the transition.

Before starting her own consulting company, Delia held several pivotal IT leadership roles at Aon Corporation. As Director of Outsourced Vendor Management, she provided oversight for all outsourced technology projects for the Technology Services & Solutions team. As Director of Service Delivery, she served as an ardent technical evangelist, subject matter expert and translator to the company’s 300-person executive team. Her expertise in managing joint business/technology strategy was leveraged as a Project Workstream Leader during Aon’s global migration from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Outlook. Delia participated in Aon’s Catalyst Americas Program, a select leadership program. She also served as Aon’s National Chairperson for Latino Business Networking to create opportunities for minorities.

Prior to Aon, Delia worked at The Maxim Group, Rockwell Electronic Commerce and Ameritech. Key highlights include rollout of a channel program in Latin America and development of a regional bilingual call center. When Delia and her husband carting their four children around they can be found on the golf course, winning bowling championships or taking road trips on their motorcycles.
