Karen Brown is an experienced operations executive whose background is rich in multicultural, global experience. Her experience demonstrates success promoting inclusion and diversity within the corporate, non-profit, and academic sectors. Having served Baker McKenzie (2nd largest law firm in the world), as Global Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, her key areas of expertise include advising top executives on appropriate strategies for the organization. These include making policy recommendations to enhance morale and productivity, limit job turnover, increase performance, and enhance business results. Karen is adept at leading organizations and implementing corporate-wide practices that enable the attainment of business objectives and encourage the hiring, development, and upward mobility of employees.

Karen founded the management consulting company, Bridge Arrow, whose mission is to connect the dots, linking Diversity & Inclusion to a business solution, making leaders more effective, and businesses more profitable.

Karen is currently serving as a citizen diplomacy ambassador and board member to WorldChicago. She has also served as advisor to ICEDR — QUEST, Chicago United, and the National Organization on Disability (NOD) and board member to Gay Lesbian Straight Educators Network (GLSEN), Big Brother Big Sister, among others.

She is currently working on a book on women in the venture capital/start-up/tech industries.
