My intercultural personal & professional life experiences and sharing my lessons learned from stress are my driving forces for offering Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Solutions.

International Personal life:

Belgian nationality, lived for 21 years in Germany, 1 year in UK and since 1997 a permanent resident in Sweden. Married to a New Zealander. Gwen is fluent in Swedish, English, Dutch and speaks, understands and reads French and German.

International Professional life:

Between 2000-2014, Gwen worked in international HR leadership roles for Swedish HQs or American subsidiaries in North Europe which were either start-up or growing IT companies (eu-supply, Wayfinder/Vodafone, Envirotainer, Intentia and BEA Systems) or mature multinationals (Oracle, Verizon, Sandvik).

In her HR leadership roles, Gwen executed many HR and people changes processes like reorganizations, redundancy, M&A and implementing new HR delivery models. Gwen gathered a lot of intercultural insight from how staff and leader communicate, collaborate and coordinate activities in Europe, US & China, India and Australia. Unfortunately, Gwen also witnessed far too often how interpersonal or intercultural misunderstanding between HQ, local leaders and staff can lead to high turn-over, conflicts, low engagement, high sickleave and stress.

Gwen left business life beginning 2015 due to an exhasution following 5 years of chronic stress in a very turbulent business enviroment while undertaking a 3-year part-time MBA study in Executive Leadership at Henley Business School. In order to regain health and finding an realistic formula for work & life balance , Gwen undertook research project on “wellbeing & health. For about 2 years, Gwen read the most recent books written by prominent professors and recognised academical professionals in the field of neurobiology, genes, psychology, brain, evolutionary biology and emotion science.

Soon she started to recognise patters & connection between information on mental & body functioning & brain programming. Those patters she used to develop simple “wellbeing and recovery” schemes to be applied for guiding her own recovery process. Beginning 2017, Gwen was recovered and decided to start up her own business in Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing. Her service offering being D&I consultancy, training workshops and coaching are reflecting her certifications in Intercultural DISC methodology, NLP, MBTI teambuilding, MBA in Executive Leadership, 20 years of international HR experience and her research on the neuroscience of wellbeing
